The Shire of Mukinbudin, north east of Perth in WA, has collected the 14,000,000th drumMUSTER drum. On the 7th October they held a collection day, netting just over 3000 drums - more than three times the number collected in March.

Mukinbudin drumMUSTER is quite a female affair with Jessica Sparks driving things at the Council, and two active community members running the collections on the day - Sue Geraghty and Cheryl Palm. Sue and Cheryl originally got involved to raise money for the local golf club. They were thrilled to hear they were responsible for bringing in the 14,000.000th drum. This equates to over 18,000 tonnes of plastic saved from landfill sites and recycled into useful items.
